In a recent survey, twelve tech-startup founders, entrepreneurs, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) owners from Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, and Rourkela participated to shed light on the challenges they face while using Design Thinking (DT) or User- centered Design (UCD) approaches.
Survey Methodology
Participants completed a survey consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions aimed at understanding their experiences with DT and UCD methodologies. The questions explored their usage patterns, pain points, and the challenges they encounter in implementing these approaches to solve business problems and empathize with users.
Key Findings
The survey revealed critical insights into the hurdles faced by these tech startups in integrating user-centered design practices into their workflows. These insights can help other entrepreneurs and SMEs anticipate and mitigate similar challenges as they adopt DT and UCD methodologies.
